Adam Stern joins vcfo Dallas as a Consulting CFO with over 25 years of experience in private equity. As a
financial expert and fractional CFO, Adam has worked with businesses as diverse as oilfield services and
consumer products.

As a sports enthusiast, Adam knows good data is vital to racking up wins. He also finds competition energizing,
driving him to roll up his sleeves and help clients with everything from implementing new business processes to
adjusting a long-term strategy. Adam enjoys working closely with leaders: advising, counseling, and guiding

decisions. Adam also served as a board member for three companies (oilfield services, steel fabrication, and
consumer products).

Other career highlights include working in tax consulting, investment banking, and private equity in New York
City and Dallas. Adam was responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring investments in companies with
revenues ranging from $5M to $200M.

Adam has an MPA in taxation and a BBA in accounting, both from the University of Texas McCombs School
of Business.
