About Eric Baliruno
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining vcfo, Eric spent his career in various accounting, controller, finance, auditing, and managerial roles for organizations such as the Westin Westminster Hotel, InsureMe, LeadCloud – Data Integration Technology, American Financing Corporation, AHP Servicing, and more. Some key achievements during this time include: developing KPIs to be used by accounting management for internal reporting purposes; partnering with senior leadership to build forecasts and evaluate financial performance; leading the accounting team in the development, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-wide accounting policies and controls, supporting
annual budgeting and monthly forecasting activities; managing and administering an employee stock ownership and profit sharing program. Eric is a Certified Public Accountant.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Eric is a big sports fan, with soccer and rugby being personal favorites. He is now in a love/hate relationship with golf. Eric is a supporter of all Denver teams, and attends as many events as time allows. He is also passionate about exercise,
frequently hitting the gym or running on the many outdoor trails Colorado has to offer. Eric spends any additional free time volunteering with homeless outreach through the Salvation Army.
