Christopher Hysinger is a highly experienced C-level executive with nearly 25 years of experience leading organizations and corporations throughout Texas. Chris has been instrumental in the success of every organization he has served. His leadership, guidance, and strategy have solidified his reputation as a sound executive with the results-driven mindset required to succeed.
With extensive expertise in executive management, financial management, capital markets, financial hedging, and risk management, Chris has positioned himself as a valuable financial consultant. Chris’ successes include playing a pivotal role in the award of the SBIR grant for Orbital Traction, managing the Texas trading desk at Louis Dreyfus Highbridge, successfully closing a 64,000 acre shale development, and in identifying, evaluating, and financing the acquisition of Texas Nautical Repair.
Prior to joining vcfo, Chris served as Owner and CFO of Texas Nautical Repair / Land Sea & Sky, Partner with Ember Advisors, CFO with Throne Petroleum, Vice President of Operations & Business Development with Orbital Traction, LTD., Vice President of Natural Gas Trading with Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy, and Natural Gas Trader with BP Energy Company. While at vcfo, Chris has advised clients in the commercial services, industrial services and distribution, telecommunications, alternative energy, energy services, healthcare and non-profit education.

Along with his passion in the workplace, Chris is an active volunteer, spending his time to help better his community. Chris is a Member with St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church Houston Endowment Fund.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Chris can frequently be found enjoying the great outdoors – day or night. A big fan of birding, photography, and astronomy, Chris loves nothing more than keeping his eyes trained on the skies and his focus on the horizon to spot the rare bird flying overhead, or the shooting star high above the night sky. Chris is a driven learner and is always looking for new subjects to learn about.
A true Texan at heart, Chris enjoys taking time to travel and explore the area of West Texas, and he has most recently begun to explore its next door neighbor, New Mexico.
