He has led finance in private, private equity-backed, and public companies, creating value by improving cash flow and profitability, strengthening financial discipline, and leading organizations through change.
Mauricio’s experience spans strategic planning and forecasting, financing and capital structure, treasury management, banking relationships, capital allocation, working capital, operational improvement, and M&A from diligence through post-close integration. He brings an operating CFO perspective focused on financial visibility, disciplined decision-making, and long-term enterprise value.

About Mauricio Morre
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining vcfo, Mauricio was Vice President and CFO of ABS Group, the global risk management consulting arm of the American Bureau of Shipping, where he led finance for a $150M to $200M business and partnered with executive leadership on planning, performance management, capital allocation, consolidated reporting, and board reporting. He also provided finance governance for a multi-year Oracle Cloud ERP transformation.
Earlier, as Senior Vice President and CFO of Enventure Global Technology, a Global PE-backed energy manufacturer with entities in multiple countries. He led finance, supply chain and broader corporate functions and directed a transformation that generated more than $2M in recurring annual EBITDA improvement, reduced inventory by 20 percent, improved DSO by 30 percent, strengthened liquidity, and culminated in the company’s successful sell-side process. He also held finance leadership roles at Impact Selector International, Schlumberger, General Electric, and Lufkin Industries.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Mauricio has served as an Advisory Board Member for the Houston chapter of the CFO Leadership Council, helping shape programming for the region’s finance leaders. He is also a member of the Financial Executives Networking Group.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Mauricio has called Houston home since 2008 and lives there with his wife and two children. He is an avid cyclist and is learning Italian to reconnect with his family’s heritage.
