vcfo is proud to announce that Elbert N. Johnson, CPA has been named a 2026 Austin Business Journal Best CFO Awards Nominee, recognized in the Medium Company CFO category.
The Best CFO Awards honor Central Texas finance leaders who have demonstrated excellence in both financial leadership and business growth. Elbert joins a competitive field of nominees from across the region, with finalists and winners to be recognized at an awards event on July 15, 2026.
Elbert serves as Dallas Practice Manager and Consulting CFO at vcfo, bringing nearly 35 years of experience across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and technology. He holds CPA, CMA, and CGMA certifications and has built his career as a hands-on financial advisor to leadership teams at every stage of growth. Since joining vcfo in 2022, he has led client engagements across the Austin, Dallas, and Denver markets and was promoted to Practice Manager in 2025
