Cheryl Wilson is a seasoned and dedicated financial and accounting professional with years of experience across a wide range of industries, services, and areas of specialization. As someone who never shies away from an opportunity to lend her knowledge, skills, and expertise, Cheryl has proven time and time again that she is capable of going beyond the general conventions of an accountant and consistently pushes the bar higher.
Today, Cheryl is one of our finest Consulting Assistant Controllers. Based in our Austin office, she has worked with some of our most important clients, including Cloud49, LLC., KNIME, Inc., Seismos, Inc., J.R. Kraft., and Twyla, Inc. Cheryl provides sound accounting and bookkeeping advice to her clients and helps them to optimize their processes and drive financial efficiency across the board.

EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining vcfo, Cheryl worked as a school teacher for 4 years and owned/operated her own accounting and bookkeeping consulting business for nearly twenty years. Through that business, she offered comprehensive bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation services, as well as training for small businesses and individuals.
Her accomplishments include:
- Determining and implementing solutions for efficient business operations.
- Customizing the set-up and implementation of QuickBooks.
- Training clients to be self-sufficient through new organizational and accounting systems.
- Processing day-to-day accounting duties.
