EXPERIENCE

Prior to joining vcfo, Brandon was a CFO for companies in a variety of industries. Among many successes, Brandon secured soft commitments for a capital raise of over $100M each from two competing commercial financiers for an international supply chain logistics and healthcare products firm. 

Brandon began his work in the operational side of artificial intelligence through a turnaround engagement for an AI software firm six years in the making. Brandon reduced non-personnel expenses by 78 percent, led the firm’s go-to-market strategy, and created the sales team with whom he completed the company’s first SaaS sale – all in his first 90 days. 

Brandon has lectured on best practices in financial modeling at the University of Houston’s CT Bauer School of Business, and has also contributed articles to Forbes Asia on manufacturing processes and the introduction of venture capital to emerging markets.

COMMUNITY SERVICE

Brandon has always had an interest in leveraging his skills and expertise to worthy causes in developing economies, exploring startup communities around the world, and helping promote social mobility through education and capital access.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Brandon has visited more than 50 countries and is always looking for new places to paraglide or SCUBA dive. A Texas native, he has called Austin, Houston, New York, France, and Colombia “home.”
