Lee Ann Perry-James is an accomplished consulting CFO with over 25 years of experience in accounting and more than 15 years as a CFO. She effectively executes finance functions strategically, establishes financial and risk controls, and oversees capital structure for private and public entities. Lee Ann’s depth and breadth of expertise include board reporting, transactional analysis, audit preparation, business plan development, market research and analysis, risk management, and capital requirements. EXPERIENCE
Lee Ann started in 2004 as an accountant for a $30B joint venture of Smith International and Schlumberger, a public entity, where she was part of a team upgrading a worldwide Oracle system for the cost accounting team. After that, she served as senior cost analyst, SOX auditor, and inventory manager for Wyman Gordon Forging, a $3B organization, where she improved P&L and developed internal SOX 400 controls.
In 2012, she assumed the role of accounting manager for Garlock Pipe Technology, where she led the accounting department and successfully implemented Oracle 13i, significantly improving financial operations. More recently, as CFO at Seves USA, a $300M organization, she demonstrated her financial prowess by saving the company over $7.5M in estimated back VAT taxes, penalties, and interest from 3 EU countries. At Pencco Inc., a private entity producing chemicals for municipal wastewater treatments and generating $80M, she managed vendors to secure product availability and delivery, contributing to an additional $6M in revenue. As a CFO, she enhances the resources and assets while reducing risks through complete ownership of all entities' financials, reporting, auditing, and compliance, further underscoring her expertise.
In 2017, she founded Kee Advisory and Consultants, LLC, a consulting integrator. Here, she not only provides strategic financial advice but also serves as a mentor to CEOs, guiding them on organizational structures and vision planning. Her role as a consultant involves identifying and removing obstacles, implementing systems, and developing effective procedures and plans, inspiring confidence, and growth in the companies she works with. As a consultant she has serviced industries from luxury manufacturing to fiber and internet infrastructure and has managed government and industry compliances at the state and federal levels while adhering to GAAS and IFRS rules.
